Pharmacy
An on-site hospital pharmacy focused on accuracy, accessibility, and the kind of patient education that turns a prescription into a real treatment plan.
About This Service
Medication is only as effective as the support around it
A prescription is the start of a treatment, not the end of it. Our hospital pharmacy is being built to ensure that every patient leaves with the medication they need, the information to use it correctly, and a clear path back to us if something doesn't feel right.
Operating directly within the hospital, the pharmacy is integrated with every other service line. When a patient is discharged from our emergency department, treated in family medicine, or stepping down from our detox or behavioral health units, our pharmacists are part of the care team — not a separate stop on the way out.
Services we plan to offer
- Inpatient and outpatient dispensing. Full-service pharmacy support for patients across all service lines.
- Medication therapy management. Pharmacist-led reviews to identify interactions, simplify regimens, and improve adherence.
- Patient education. Clear, plain-language counseling about how and when to take medications, and what to watch for.
- Specialty medications. Support for complex therapies including those used in addiction treatment, behavioral health, and chronic disease management.
- Affordability counseling. Help understanding insurance coverage, manufacturer assistance programs, and lower-cost alternatives.
Why integrated pharmacy matters
Patients who fill prescriptions at the same hospital where they receive care benefit from a complete, real-time medication record — reducing the risk of dangerous drug interactions, duplicate therapy, and missed doses during transitions of care. For patients managing multiple conditions, that continuity is not a convenience; it's a clinical safeguard.
Our approach
Our pharmacists are clinicians, not just dispensers. They sit at the intersection of every service line and are empowered to ask questions, flag concerns, and advocate for patients. We measure success not by prescriptions filled, but by patients who actually get better — and stay better.
